Home Dodge Ford IH Mercedes-Benz Diesel Tech Sea Scouts Pictures Links

April 29th, 2000

After a grueling move and a bad break-up in mid April, I needed a weekend off. Even though the Sea Scout ship had a major competition planned for that weekend, I really needed to see some family. So I drove down to my dad's. In the course of that visit, we went playing around, and we happened to come upon a rare mud pit in the Mojave Desert! In the Antelope Valley, the dirt is very similar to clay, and the mud is very sticky and slippery and easy to get stuck in. So, of course, I went straight for it! There's a reason that mud is refered to as a kid/guy magnet...the fact that I was stone-sober helps prove that even more. :) Some of these pages have multiple pictures and may take a few minutes to download, but they're worth it! Enjoy!
