Introduction:

Are you one of those people who knows that being physically active is good for you, but you just can’t seem to get out and get moving?

Do you ever feel frustrated, or even guilty, because you’re not as active as you wish you were?

Do you find that it’s hard to get motivated, get comfortable, or just find time to move your body more than the minimum required to get through your daily grind?

Then this WebQuest is for you

Finding the Path To Fitness:

Through our studies of occupational therapy, we know that making lifestyle changes is more complicated than simply telling yourself to do something. Occupational therapists understand that your motivation, your abilities, your habits, and your environment all come together to get you through your day and everything in it. To make a change you need a plan that impacts more than one of these areas of your life; that’s where the fitness path comes in. Be prepared: you need to take small steps and you may need to travel the path multiple times as you learn more about yourself and as you grow and change.

By the time you travel all the way around our fitness path you will have learned something about why you want to be more active and what is stopping you from doing so. You will have decided on your personal activity goal and made a plan for taking the first steps.

On your mark, get set, GO!
